For What it’s Earth - Incorporating Sustainability Education into ELT Classrooms
Descrizione
Teaching English is no longer just teaching English.
We must also prepare students with the skills, values and knowledge to contribute to a global society in which English is the lingua franca, and sustainability is at the very heart of that.
With examples from National Geographic Learning’s Perspectives series, in this session we’ll explore how we can incorporate education for sustainable development (ESD) into our language classes alongside teaching English, and in doing so truly prepare our students for their futures.
